You Are Desire (白日梦我)

After her parents' divorce, Lin Yujing moves to a new city with her father and starts at a new school. There, she becomes desk mates with the notoriously ill-tempered Shen Juan, a withdrawn student repeating a year. Despite their rocky start, the two gradually grow close and develop feelings for each other. However, just as life begins to settle down, Lin Yujing's mother forcibly takes her back to her hometown, separating the pair. A year later, they reunite at university, where Lin Yujing discovers that Shen Juan has been struggling with the trauma of losing a loved one. With her help and the support of their friends, Shen Juan slowly emerges from his grief and returns to the life he was meant to live.

The 30-episode series (approx. 45 min each) can be broadly divided into four main story arcs:

• Act 1: A New Start & Unlikely Desk Mates (Episodes 1-8 approx.): Lin Yujing moves to a new city after her parents' divorce and transfers to a new school. She is assigned to sit next to Shen Juan, the school's notorious "ill-tempered" delinquent. Despite their clashing personalities, they gradually begin to understand and care for each other.
• Act 2: Growing Closer & Forced Separation (Episodes 9-16 approx.): As Lin Yujing and Shen Juan's bond deepens, their feelings for each other blossom. However, their growing happiness is interrupted when Lin Yujing's mother arrives and forcibly takes her back to her hometown, tearing the young couple apart.
• Act 3: Reunion & Hidden Wounds (Episodes 17-24 approx.): A year later, Lin Yujing and Shen Juan unexpectedly reunite at university. She discovers that during their time apart, Shen Juan suffered a devastating family loss and has been unable to move past his grief. Lin Yujing and their friends work together to help him heal.
• Act 4: Healing & Finding Their Way (Episodes 25-30): With the support of Lin Yujing and those around him, Shen Juan slowly begins to emerge from his trauma and find his purpose again. Lin Yujing also discovers her own path forward in life. Together, they face the future, having grown stronger through their shared hardships.
