Time and Him are Just Right (时光与他，恰是正好)

Adapted from the novel by Jiang Mutong, this drama follows the stubborn yet adorable Lin Xi who deliberately gets close to the black-bellied top student, Ji Junxing. As she persistently seeks his friendship, the two find mutual growth, nurture a sweet campus romance, and embark on a wonderful journey from high school through to their eventual marriage.

The 25-episode series (approx. 45 minutes each) can be broadly broken down into the following four main arcs:

• Act 1: Chance Encounters & Turning from Enemies to Friends (Episodes 1-6): Lin Xi transfers to a new school and immediately becomes the talk of the campus when she mistakes top student Ji Junxing for an old friend and hugs him tightly in public. After being placed as his deskmate, she moves into his home as a boarder under his mother’s arrangement, forcing the two into an awkward but daily cohabitation.
• Act 2: The High School "Secret" Mission & A Budding Romance (Episodes 7-15): As Lin Xi and Ji Junxing grow closer, their friend group (including Jiang Yimian and Qin Kai) begins to form a small squad. They navigate high school life together, from a double-date encounter at a haunted house to sharing quiet moments at a library study camp.
• Act 3: College Life, Dreams & The Long-Distance Test (Episodes 16-22): The group graduates from high school and enters university. Lin Xi and Ji Junxing (now a couple) pursue their respective college majors. The two face the challenges of youth, while also dealing with the heart-tugging reality of a long-distance relationship.
• Act 4: A Walk Down Memory Lane & Walking Down the Aisle (Episodes 23-25): After finally overcoming the obstacles of distance, the series comes full circle. The finale returns to the story's opening timeline as Lin Xi and Ji Junxing return to their high school campus in their wedding attire, sharing a happy ending with their old classmates.
