Take a Nap (海岛舒服日志)

Set in 2024, the story follows Wang Zhihui (Li Landi), a lost urban girl, and Xie Yuyang (Liu Haoran), a young man starved of love. After an accidental jump into the sea, they are transported back in time to 1998 and find themselves on a mysterious island in southern Fujian. Their souls inhabit the bodies of two locals—Wang Zhihui becomes Cai Yueliang, and Xie Yuyang becomes Chen Haichao. Initially antagonistic toward each other, they gradually grow closer, uncovering the secrets behind the time-space dislocation while experiencing the island's slow-paced life and rediscovering themselves in the process.

The 28-episode series (approx. 45 min each) can be broadly divided into four main story arcs:

• Act 1: The Fateful Time Travel (Episodes 1-7 approx.): In 2024, two people burdened by life's problems accidentally fall into the sea and travel back in time to 1998. They find themselves on a mysterious island off the coast of southern Fujian, their souls inhabiting the bodies of two locals. As they struggle to adapt to their new lives, they are initially at odds with each other and their new surroundings.
• Act 2: Adapting to Island Life (Episodes 8-14 approx.): The protagonists begin to adjust to the slow-paced life of a 1990s fishing village, adapting to a simple daily routine of sunrise and sunset. The islanders are warm and interesting, and the pair’s relationship gradually begins to thaw. They start to investigate the strange phenomena around them, including luminous jellyfish and mysterious ship horns.
• Act 3: Unraveling the Mystery (Episodes 15-21 approx.): As their bond deepens, they continue to uncover the secrets of the time-space dislocation, deciphering clues from confusing signals and hidden connections. The journey of mutual redemption fully takes hold: Xie Yuyang learns to feel warmth and love, while Wang Zhihui rediscovers her courage.
• Act 4: An Unexpected Resolution (Episodes 22-28): The pair pushes the time-travel rules and system to its limits, creating a completely unexpected conclusion. The story, guided by the clues of "the past is the future," resolves the cycle of fate, allowing them to complete their journey of healing and self-discovery.
