Summer in Your Name (以你为名的夏天)

Adapted from Ren Pingzhou's novel of the same name, Summer in Your Name is set in Nanli High School. The story follows Sheng Xia (Wu Shile), a quiet and reserved transfer student in her final year of high school. On her first day, she meets Zhang Shu (Zhai Xiaowen), a legendary figure at the school who went from being an underachiever to a top student. Initially misunderstanding him as a "bad" student, Sheng Xia gradually gets to know him through their daily interactions. Despite their contrasting personalities, they become an irreplaceable part of each other's lives. As they support and encourage each other through the pressures of their final year, they grow up together, eventually pursuing their individual dreams while choosing to spend their lives together.

The 24-episode series (approx. 45 min each) can be broadly divided into four main story arcs:

• Act 1: A Misunderstanding (Episodes 1-6 approx.): Sheng Xia transfers to Nanli High School and meets the school's notorious figure, Zhang Shu. She initially misunderstands his character, leading to a series of awkward and humorous encounters.
• Act 2: Becoming Desk Mates (Episodes 7-12 approx.): The two are assigned as desk mates. Through daily interactions, they begin to see each other's true selves. Sheng Xia discovers that Zhang Shu is not who she thought he was, and their feelings for each other start to grow.
• Act 3: A Budding Romance (Episodes 13-18 approx.): As the intense pressure of the college entrance exams looms, they navigate the delicate phase of first love, supporting each other and creating memories that define their youth.
• Act 4: A Lifelong Commitment (Episodes 19-24): The series follows them through their final exams and into the future, culminating in their happy ending as they go from being high school sweethearts to a married couple.
