Plot Overview
Adapted from Pu Songling’s classic novel Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio (Liao Zhai Zhi Yi), this 2026 version follows Xia Feixue (Chang Huasen), a demon hunter searching for a way to break his own curse. By chance, he meets the innocent fox spirit Xi Yue (Zhang Miaoyi).
