Plot Overview
Orphan girl A Dai (Ju Jing Yi) becomes the disciple of the carefree immortal Xiao Yihan (Zhang Yun Long). While he is a lazy teacher, she is diligent and hardworking, rising to fame by taming an ancient divine hammer. Just as their bond deepens, Xiao Yihan betrays the sect to save his brother, who is trapped in the sealed Penglai clan’s domain. Feeling betrayed, A Dai pursues him. Through their journey to Penglai, they experience hardship and begin to understand each other and the misunderstood Penglai people. They ultimately unite the human and demon races to help the Penglai clan change their fate, ending a centuries-old conflict.

A Dai, who harbors a deep hatred for the Penglai clan, feels betrayed and breaks ties with him. She begins a long pursuit to stop him.
- Act 3: The Journey & Understanding (Episodes 19-27 approx.): Through a series of coincidences, A Dai and Xiao Yihan end up in the lands of the Penglai clan. There, they undergo many trials and receive help from the Penglai people. They begin to put aside their prejudices and decide to help the Penglai clan change their physical constitution.
- Act 4: Uniting the Three Races (Episodes 28-36): Under their call, the human and demon races join forces to perform a ritual, successfully helping the Penglai clan change their fate. This brings an end to the thousand-year-old conflict between the two realms and the three races.
