Plot Overview
Adapted from the novel "Gao Bai" (告白) by Ying Cheng, the story follows Xu Sui (Deng Enxi), a quiet and well-behaved girl who harbors a secret crush on the school heartthrob Zhou Jingze (Wang Xingyue) during high school. Determined to stay close to him, she applies to the university next to his flight academy. They coincidentally get together and share a passionate youth filled with band practices, sunrise outings, and cherished memories. However, they separate due to a misunderstanding. Years later, they reunite as adults—she is now a successful surgeon, while he has been wronged and trapped in a restrictive training environment. As they cautiously navigate their rekindled connection, Zhou Jingze actively pursues her while Xu Sui finds herself unable to suppress her lingering feelings. They gradually resolve their past misunderstandings and achieve a "reconciliation after breaking up" (破镜重圆). In the end, Zhou Jingze joins the China Air Rescue Team as a pilot, and Xu Sui becomes a member of the medical rescue team, fulfilling their professional dreams together.
