Li Quanzhe (李权哲)

Li Quanzhe is a singer-turned-actor who first captured public attention as a contestant on the 2018 idol survival show Idol Producer, where he finished in the top 35. He subsequently debuted as a member of Yuehua Entertainment's boy group NEXT and later joined the group LOONG 9 in 2024 after placing second on Asia Super Young. While his musical career has been his primary focus—with releases including the group album THE FIRST and his solo EP 5/N—he has more recently begun to build a profile as an actor, appearing in the 2024 web drama Qing Wan Zhi Lin (《晴晚之林》).

Breakthrough Role Li's most significant breakthrough to date is his acting debut in the 2024 web drama Qing Wan Zhi Lin (《晴晚之林》), in which he played the lead role of Qing Tian. The series aired on Youku in October 2024, and Li also contributed to its soundtrack, performing the theme song Your Arrival (《你的降临》). Prior to this, his screen appearances were largely limited to variety and reality shows, including Youth With You (2018), The Coming One (2019), and Chao Xin Xing Games (2024).

Public Perception Li Quanzhe's public image suffered a severe blow in July 2026 following a highly publicized "high-speed rail seat occupation" incident. He was accused of refusing to vacate a passenger's first-class seat and initially attributing the mix-up to a ticketing error, a claim that was later refuted by the railway authorities. His subsequent apology was widely criticized as insincere and evasive. The scandal triggered a massive backlash: reports indicated commercial partnerships were terminated, platform visibility was reduced, and his public goodwill was described as having been "completely wiped out". While he has continued to appear in group activities with LOONG 9, the incident has cast a long shadow over his career, with commentators noting that his years of effort in the industry were overshadowed by a single week of controversy.
